The National Home School Association (NHSA) is committed to protecting your privacy. We maintain the privacy of your information using security technologies and adhere to policies that prevent unauthorized use of your personal information.

Personal Information that the NHSA Collects and How it's Used

We collect personal information from visitors when they register to join an email list and from both Parents and Vendors that utilize the NHSA Curriculum Match service (collectively called “Participant(s)”). This information includes: Visitor information includes the email address, respective zip code and the visitors name. Participant information includes all information submitted on the Parent or Vendor Application forms. We may also monitor and track information such as visitor usage patterns of our web site and email engagement such as open rates and click-throughs. We compile this information into a statistical aggregate, which we use for internal purposes only including improving our web service, member communications and our client service.

Any personal information we collect is always voluntarily submitted by you. This information is used by the NHSA to communicate with you in the future (if you have given your permission for such contact). We keep confidential all personal information entered during registration.

Email removals, member profile review and updates.

If, for any reason, you would like to be removed from our email list, you can unsubscribe by simply stating this desire in a reply to any email we send you.

Protecting Your Privacy

As part of our commitment to ensuring the privacy of our visitors and Participants, we do not sell or exchange names or any other personally identifiable information about our online visitors and Participants with, for example, mass marketers.

We also do not provide personal information to third parties to enable any third party to perform common tasks, such as maintain the membership database or send emails and/or newsletters on a company's behalf. All of those functions are done in-house. We may however share aggregate information about web site usage and traffic patterns, stripped of any personally identifiable information, to third parties to comply with various reporting obligations and for business or marketing purposes.
